매년 국제적으로 저명한 이론물리학자를 초청하여 아시아 태평양 지역 물리학계 발전을 위한 공동 연구 수행, 콜로퀴움/대중 강연 등을 진행하고 있는 BENJAMIN W. LEE PROFESSORSHIP 벤자민 리 석좌교수 프로그램입니다. 국제적으로 저명한 학자를 초청하여 학술 교류의 기회 확대 및 시너지 제고, 센터의 국제적 인지도 제고, 센터 및 국내 연구진의 연구역량 강화 및 국내 이론물리 분야 질적 수준을 제고합니다.

Benjamin Lee distinguished professorship is created in honor of Korea's foremost theoretical physicist, late Benjamin Lee, who had a distinguished career in particle physics theory. The program is intended to invite a theoretical physicist of international prominence to stay at APCTP for an extended period. The visit is expected to provide opportunities for the domestic scientists and graduate students to interact with an world-caliber theoretical physicist in their fields of study. The Benjamin Lee professor may give lecture sessions and/or organize small workshops built around the theme of his/her research during the stay.

벤자민 리 석좌교수 프로그램을 위한 아이덴티티 디자인입니다. Benjamin Whisho Lee 박사의 이니셜 B.W.L을 원이 확장, 연결된 형태로 디자인하였습니다. 차세대 과학리더 양성에 힘쓰는 프로그램의 취지를 운동성과 연결성이 느껴지는 심벌로 표현하였습니다.

This is an identity design for Benjamin Lee's chair professor program. Dr. Benjamin Whisho Lee's initials B.W.L. were designed in a circle-expanded and connected form. The purpose of the program, which strives to foster the next generation of scientific leaders, is expressed as a symbol of motility and connectivity.
